Curricula & Dual Enrollment

Potentia Academy utilizes challenging, specialized curricula designed to address deficiencies, particularly in the core subjects of English language arts and mathematics. Our curricula cover all subjects necessary to allow students to graduate with a standard high school diploma and, if they choose, transition to college or university. However, the curricula are designed to enhance students’ comprehension and retention of the subject material, and to integrate well with our teaching methods.

Potentia Academy is one of the private schools that allows students the option of dual enrollment at Palm Beach State College.

Students qualified for dual enrollment are required to have:

Students are eligible to enter the CCREST Program after completing a specific set of high school courses. CCREST courses are taken in addition to the standard required high school classes. As part of the CCREST Program, students gain exposure to real life scenarios and business professionals.

It takes students a minimum of two years to complete the CCREST program. Parental collaboration is essential for an effective outcome.

Seniors at Potentia Academy who meet Palm Beach State College requirements are eligible for dual enrollment, which allows high school students an opportunity to enroll in college courses and receive both high school and postsecondary credit.
