Dress Code

Potentia Academy enforces a strict dress code. All students must come to school properly, neatly, and cleanly dressed.  Students must wear school uniforms, as described below both on campus and any school events held off campus.  Potentia Academy uniforms must be purchased from Harris School Uniforms.  You may place your order online at Harris School Uniforms.

Regular Uniforms

Boys:  Uniform tops are red, white or navy blue polo shirts, which display the Potentia Academy logo.  Navy blue or khaki slacks.

Girls:  Uniform tops are red, white or navy blue polo shirts, which display the Potentia Academy logo.  Uniformed bottoms are plaid skorts.  (Returning students, who own blue or khaki skorts purchased in previous years, may wear them during the 2015-16 year, but this is the last year.)

For cold weather, sweatshirts and sweatpants bearing the Potentia logo may be worn.  Sweatshirts must be worn over regular Potentia polo shirts.  Navy blue fleece jackets with the Potentia logo are also available for purchase at Harris School Uniforms

All students must wear socks and closed-toe shoes.  For safety reasons, sandals or open-toe shoes of any kind are not permitted.

Dress Uniforms

Boys:  Uniform dress tops are long sleeve, white oxford shirts, which display the Potentia Academy logo.  Khaki slacks purchased at Harris are the only acceptable pants for use with dress uniforms.  Boys must also wear a red tie purchased from Joseph A. Bank at Wellington Mall.  Let the salesman know that you want the red tie that is on file for Potentia Academy.

Girls:  Uniform dress tops are long sleeve, white oxford shirts, which display the Potentia Academy logo.  The only acceptable bottoms for girls dress uniforms are plaid skorts.

The first change is that all students will wear their dress uniform one day per week. You will be notified at open house which day will be dress uniform day. For 2015-16 dress uniform day is Wednesday.
